Settlers Attack Palestinian Village in South Hebron, Injuring Children and Burning Homes

In the early hours, a group of Israeli settlers raided the Palestinian village of Tuba in Masafer Yatta, located in the southern Hebron Hills. According to Palestinian reports, five residents were injured during the attack, including four children aged 5, 6, 8, and 10, a 35-year-old woman who is the mother of one of the children, and a 22-year-old man. The attackers set fire to five homes, damaged solar panels, and spray-painted graffiti on buildings in the village. Footage released by the village shows the assailants leaving the area in a group, reportedly fleeing toward the Maon settlement. No arrests have been reported so far.

This incident is part of a recent surge in violence across the West Bank. Last week, clashes erupted near Nablus when a group of Israelis entered the village of Tal and moved toward the outskirts of the city. The Israeli military reported that Palestinians threw stones at the Israelis, and one Palestinian fired a warning shot into the air. Subsequently, Israeli civilians vandalized a cemetery in the area. Israeli forces dispersed the crowd and removed the Israelis from the site, emphasizing that entry into Area A is illegal and dangerous for Israelis.

The ongoing tensions highlight the volatile security situation in the region, with repeated violent incidents involving settlers and Palestinians in the West Bank.
