Dutch Leader Wilders Praises Netanyahu, Warns Europe on Islam and Antisemitism

Dutch politician Geert Wilders sharply criticized European immigration policies, warning about the rise of Islam and antisemitism across the continent. Speaking in an interview on August 5, 2026, Wilders argued that social cohesion is impossible if Islam becomes a dominant force in society, describing Islam as an ideology that seeks control rather than integration. He said, "I have great respect for him," and lamented the lack of similar leadership in Europe, adding, "I wish we had more leaders like Netanyahu in Europe today, but unfortunately, we have none."

Addressing the escalating tensions in the Middle East, Wilders warned about the growing threat posed by Iran's regime, which he described as a danger not only to Israel but to the entire region and Europe. He highlighted Iran's missile capabilities reaching European countries and insisted that Iran must never be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.
