Man Arrested for Stabbing Near Chef Moshik Roth’s Tel Aviv Restaurant

On July 22, 2026, two minors were stabbed near the Komran restaurant on HaArba'a Street in Tel Aviv. The victims, a teenage boy and girl from Tel Aviv, were hospitalized with light to moderate injuries. Police arrived promptly, conducted extensive searches, and collected evidence at the scene. Two suspects were initially detained for questioning.

On July 27, the main suspect, a 25-year-old man from Kiryat Ekron, was arrested while in possession of the knife used in the stabbing. Police gathered evidence linking him and the other suspects to the attack. The suspect’s detention was extended multiple times, and on August 4, a prosecutor’s statement was filed at the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court, signaling intent to press serious charges and request detention until trial. The two other suspects were placed under house arrest by court order.

The mother of the 16-year-old female victim described the knife as about 20 centimeters long and five centimeters deep, condemning the attackers and emphasizing her daughter’s innocence. Representatives of Chef Moshik Roth and the Komran restaurant denied any connection between the stabbing and the restaurant, stating the incident occurred outside and while the restaurant was closed.
