UEFA Fines Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem for Fan Misconduct in Conference League

Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem, two Israeli football clubs, have been sanctioned by UEFA's disciplinary committee for fan misconduct during the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. Hapoel Tel Aviv was fined 40,000 euros and received a conditional ban on ticket sales to their fans for one away European match, due to the lighting of flares during their match against Ludogorets. Additionally, the club was penalized for damages caused by its supporters to the stadium and facilities. Beitar Jerusalem was fined 25,000 euros and received a suspended one-match stadium closure without spectators for their home game against AEK Larnaca, also related to flare lighting. This suspension is on probation for one year from the date of the decision. Both clubs will need to cover these fines as part of their disciplinary measures.
