UEFA Fines Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem for Fan Misconduct in Conference League

Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem, two Israeli football clubs, have been sanctioned by UEFA's disciplinary committee due to fan behavior during the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. Hapoel Tel Aviv was fined 40,000 euros and received a suspended one-match away ticket ban for two years following the lighting of flares during their match against Ludogorets. Additionally, the club was penalized for damages caused by its fans to the stadium and facilities.

Beitar Jerusalem was fined 25,000 euros and handed a suspended one-match home game behind closed doors penalty after fans lit flares in their game against AEK Larnaca. This sanction is suspended for a one-year probation period starting from the date of the decision. Both clubs must now comply with these disciplinary measures as they continue their European campaigns.
