UEFA Fines Israeli Football Clubs Over Fan Disturbances in Europe
Israeli football clubs Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Beitar Jerusalem, and Hapoel Tel Aviv have been fined by UEFA due to fan disturbances during their European matches. Hapoel Be'er Sheva received the highest cumulative fine among the Israeli teams, totaling 24,250 euros. This included 6,000 euros for their home game against Vikingur, 10,000 euros for the home match against Red Star Belgrade, and an additional 8,250 euros for the away game against Red Star Belgrade.
Beitar Jerusalem was fined 18,375 euros following their away match against Larnaca, while Hapoel Tel Aviv was fined 5,000 euros for their home game against Katowice. In total, Israeli clubs were fined 47,625 euros due to incidents involving their fans during European competitions.
