Bnei Sakhnin Coach Yossi Abuksis Retains Support Despite Seven Consecutive Losses

Bnei Sakhnin continues to struggle amid a difficult run, suffering a 1-0 defeat to Ironi Kiryat Shmona in the Toto Cup group stage on Tuesday. This loss marked Sakhnin's seventh consecutive defeat across all competitions since Yossi Abuksis took over as head coach. Abuksis's record now stands at one win in 13 matches. Despite the poor results, the club's management remains fully supportive of Abuksis and has refrained from public criticism.

During the recent match, Abuksis expressed frustration with striker Basil Khouri, who received two yellow cards within 11 minutes and was sent off in the 39th minute. The coach criticized the sending off to the bench staff and remained visibly upset on the sidelines.

The club is awaiting the completion of its squad registration, with players Dmitry Kabra, Mustafa Sheikh Yosef, and Niv Livnat yet to be officially registered with the football association. Meanwhile, Bnei Sakhnin is actively working to sign two forwards and a right back before the season begins, alongside integrating new foreign players into the team.
