Israeli Air Force Helicopter and Unit 669 Rescue Injured Teen in Yehudiya Stream

Israeli Air Force helicopter and Unit 669 rescued a teenager who fell about three meters and suffered a head injury in the Yehudiya Stream. After initial treatment on site by a paramedic from the Golan Rescue Unit, the teen was airlifted while fully conscious to an awaiting ambulance for further medical care.

Simultaneously, Israeli police volunteers from the Golan Rescue Unit and Northern Border Police fighters completed a second rescue operation in the Banias Stream, where another teenager was injured after a fall resulting in a leg injury. Medics treated him on site before evacuating him by stretcher to a nearby parking area, where he was transferred to a Magen David Adom intensive care ambulance.

The Golan Rescue Unit urged the public to hike only on marked trails and avoid crossing fences due to the risk of landmines. Both rescue operations highlight the coordinated efforts of Israeli security and medical teams in northern Israel's challenging terrain.
