Teenager Injured During School Trip Rescued from Golan Heights Stream
Police volunteers from the Golan Heights rescue unit successfully extracted a 14-year-old girl from Haifa who was injured during a school trip in the Gilbon Stream. The incident occurred when the girl tripped and fell, sustaining a back injury.
A medical team from the unit, comprising a paramedic and medics, provided initial medical treatment to the girl at the scene. Following the first aid, rescue unit members carried her on a stretcher along a steep path to a parking area where an Magen David Adom (MDA) ambulance was waiting.
After the foot evacuation was completed, the girl opted to continue her medical evaluations and treatment through independent transport. The rescue operation was coordinated by the Israel Police.
