Bnei Brak Rabbi Appeals for Urgent Aid to Family with Paralyzed Mother and Two Children

A severe distress case involving a family in Bnei Brak has been brought to the attention of Rabbi Shmuel Halberstam, the community rabbi of Shikun Gimmel and head of the Kahal Divrei Chaim congregation. The mother in the family is completely paralyzed, and the household includes two young children whose daily lives revolve around her condition and its consequences. Paralysis requires constant care and supervision around the clock, imposing a heavy emotional and financial burden on the family.

Rabbi Halberstam described the situation as a significant charity case, emphasizing the enormous ongoing expenses that have accumulated over time. The family has fallen into tens of thousands of shekels in debt, making urgent financial assistance critical. The rabbi personally committed to helping raise the necessary funds to stabilize the family’s situation.

In a rare public appeal, Rabbi Halberstam urged the community to contribute, highlighting the spiritual merit of giving. He requested donations of 180 shekels per person, describing it as a small but meaningful investment that will bring blessings.
