Leading Rabbi Urges Urgent Aid for Devoted Charity Worker Facing Financial Collapse

Rabbi Tzvi Braverman, the chief rabbinical judge (Ravad) of Beitar Illit, recently issued an emotional appeal to the public on behalf of a well-known charity worker who has fallen into severe financial distress. This individual, renowned for his many years of devoted service to both individuals and the community, has long provided a refuge for the needy, brokenhearted, and troubled, offering them a listening ear, warm meals, and genuine support. Over time, his debts accumulated to the point that he is now facing complete economic collapse.

In his rare testimony, Rabbi Braverman described the gravity of the situation, stating, "This is a very difficult case of an extraordinary charity worker who dedicated his life to others and has incurred enormous debts supporting the poor and downtrodden at his table. The situation has reached a total financial breakdown." He emphasized the urgency by saying, "His economic distress cries out to the heavens. It is very close to a matter of life and death. He lacks even the most basic necessities."

Rabbi Braverman stressed that his knowledge of the case is firsthand, not hearsay, and called on everyone to exert themselves beyond their means to help this man who has given so much to the public. He concluded with a promise to donors that anyone who contributes will be blessed with health, success, and prosperity. Following his appeal, the public is encouraged to donate 360 shekels to assist the charity worker and receive the rabbi's special blessing.
