Prominent Rabbi Appeals for Urgent Aid to Large Family Facing Homelessness in Beitar
A deeply distressed large family in Beitar, led by a devoted Torah scholar, is facing an unprecedented crisis after losing their home due to severe financial collapse. Rabbi Yaakov Rozenbach, the community rabbi of Beitar, issued a heartfelt personal testimony describing the family's hardships over recent years, including the heavy financial burdens incurred from multiple family weddings that ultimately forced the sale of their house. Rabbi Rozenbach emphasized the father's dedication to Torah study despite these challenges and highlighted the family's current state of instability and poverty.
Since selling their home, the family has endured a nomadic existence, moving from place to place without any stable shelter or financial security. The rabbi described their living conditions as precarious, relying on minimal support and facing significant suffering. Amid this turmoil, the family is preparing for another wedding, which Rabbi Rozenbach identified as a critical moment requiring urgent communal support to prevent their complete collapse.
To address this emergency, a special fund has been established through the Kuppat Ha'ir charity, fund number 5981, calling on the public to contribute 350 shekels each to help stabilize the family and enable the upcoming celebration. Rabbi Rozenbach concluded his appeal with a blessing promising that donors will merit raising their children in peace, free of debt, and with spiritual and material success.
