Bnei Brak Honors 75 Years of Dedication by Yad L'Achim Organization

In a heartfelt ceremony held at the Bnei Brak mayor's office, Mayor Rabbi Chanoch Zeibert presented a special certificate of appreciation to the leadership of Yad L'Achim, an organization that has operated in the city since its founding 75 years ago. The event recognized the organization's longstanding commitment to combating missionary activity and cults, and its efforts to spiritually integrate thousands of immigrants, particularly from Yemen.

The meeting was attended by city dignitaries, including CEO Rabbi Israel Eisenstein and senior Yad L'Achim officials. The gathering began with a historical overview of the organization's establishment by Rabbi Shalom Dov Lipschitz, who started the work from a small room in the home of the city's chief rabbi, Rabbi Yaakov Landau. From its inception, Yad L'Achim has saved thousands of souls, helping tens of thousands enter religious educational frameworks and return to their faith.

Mayor Zeibert expressed deep pride in hosting the organization's headquarters in Bnei Brak, calling it a "holy and exalted" institution that operates mostly discreetly yet saves entire worlds. Rabbi Shmuel Lipschitz, a senior leader of Yad L'Achim, emphasized that the organization's strength derives from the Torah study culture in Bnei Brak, which fuels their rescue activities around the clock.

Additional remarks were made by Rabbi Yoav Robinson, head of the anti-missionary department, who outlined current challenges and emergency operations. Rabbi Chaim Eisenberg proposed practical ideas to expand cooperation between the city and Yad L'Achim. Mayor Zeibert warmly endorsed these initiatives and pledged municipal support to enhance the organization's vital rescue and charitable work.

The ceremony culminated with the mayor awarding a prestigious certificate of appreciation to Yad L'Achim's leadership on behalf of Bnei Brak residents and officials, honoring the tireless efforts of all activists and staff who work day and night to protect and bring Jewish people closer to their faith.
