Iran Warns of Precise Strikes on US Bases Amid Tensions with Trump Administration

A senior Iranian official sharply criticized former US President Donald Trump, claiming significant damage to American military bases across the Middle East. The official, identified as Rezai, stated that Trump ordered the commander of US Central Command to intensify attacks, but US military leaders responded that air and missile strike capabilities had already been maximized. Rezai added that plans for a ground invasion were ultimately canceled due to fundamentally flawed US military assessments, which underestimated the forces needed to control the Strait of Hormuz.

When asked why Israel did not actively participate in the recent operations, Rezai explained that many Israeli Defense Forces units were engaged in fighting in Gaza, southern Lebanon, and the West Bank, leaving Israel unable to join the US-led campaign. He also suggested that Trump wanted to claim sole credit for the operation without Israeli involvement, presenting it as an independent American decision to the US public.

Rezai issued an unusual warning to Ukraine after it mistakenly attacked an Iranian ship, noting that Iran had been preparing retaliatory strikes on multiple Ukrainian targets. However, following a phone call clarifying the attack was accidental, Iran refrained from immediate retaliation but demanded compensation from Kyiv. He concluded with a grave global warning that US attempts to control the Strait of Hormuz could spark a third world war.

Amid the tensions, Rezai called on the Iranian public to strengthen the local economy and reduce dependence on oil to ensure resilience against future blockades or sanctions.
