Hapoel Haifa Weighs William Agada Signing Amid Salary Dispute

Hapoel Haifa is considering signing William Agada, a former Hapoel Jerusalem striker currently without a club, as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2026/27 season. Agada, who scored 14 goals over two seasons in the Israeli Premier League and recently played in Spain's second division, is personally valued by club owner Yoav Katz, who previously worked with him during the 2020/21 season. However, negotiations are stalled due to Agada's salary demands exceeding what Hapoel Haifa is willing to offer. "The ball is in Yoav Katz's court," club sources said.

While Agada remains a key target, Hapoel Haifa is also exploring other foreign striker options to strengthen their attack alongside Alon Turgeman and Itay Zeffany. Additionally, winger Jayden Braaf has begun trials with the team and has already completed a personal training session. Head coach Haim Silvas and his staff plan to give Braaf playing time in an upcoming match against Ironi Kiryat Shmona.
