Cooling Early Week, Warmer Weather Returns by Midweek

Israel’s weather will see only modest swings over the coming days, with the first half of the week relatively pleasant and accompanied by light drizzles, before typical summer heat returns in the second half. Today, Sunday, will be partly to mostly clear, with no significant change in temperatures, which will remain normal for the season.

In the north, early risers may notice an unusual seasonal feature, light drizzle and a slight chance of localized rain in the morning. On Monday, the comfortable trend continues, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures again staying essentially unchanged.

By Tuesday, the summer turnaround begins. Conditions will be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight rise in temperatures, especially in the mountains and inland areas. On Wednesday, the warming reaches its peak, with clear to partly cloudy skies and another small increase in temperatures in the mountains and inland, pushing them a little above seasonal norms.

Forecasters say the midweek weather will feel hotter and drier than usual for the season, marking the end of the brief cool, drizzly spell.
