Pleasant Weekend Weather, Then Warming by Mid-Week Next Week
Israel is expected to see relatively comfortable weather for the season this weekend, with moderate heat stress in most areas and slightly hotter conditions inland. Meteorologist Matan Yaakov reported the forecast on June 13, 2026 at 06:27.
Temperatures are forecast to reach 28 degrees in Kiryat Shmona, 32 in Katzrin, 27 in Jerusalem, 35 in the Dead Sea area and 31 in Mitzpe Ramon. The Mediterranean is expected to be calm enough for a beach visit, with waves up to 80 centimeters, while the Sea of Galilee should be even better for swimming, with waves up to 50 centimeters and stronger winds in the afternoon.
No major change is expected at the start of next week, and Monday is forecast to bring a drop in temperatures and more comfortable conditions. After that, a clear warming trend is expected day by day, leading into the end of next week and becoming significant by the middle of next week.
