Israelis are set for a relatively comfortable start to the week, but the summer warming trend is already approaching. The Israel Meteorological Service says the coming days will remain fairly stable before a noticeable warm-up begins in the middle of the week.
On Monday, skies will be partly cloudy to clear, with temperatures slightly below seasonal averages. Heat stress will be eased, especially in the mountain areas. Tuesday is expected to stay much the same, with no significant change in conditions and temperatures still a bit below the summer norm, again mainly in the hills.
On Wednesday, the synoptic pattern shifts and temperatures will rise slightly across the country, along with a clear increase in heat stress. By Thursday, the weather will stabilize, with partly cloudy to clear skies and temperatures and heat stress returning to normal for the season.
Friday is expected to open the weekend with typical June weather, partly cloudy to clear and with temperatures and heat stress at seasonal levels.
