Defense Minister Katz Denies Canceling Administrative Detention Orders Amid Audience Dispute

Katz claimed that he had canceled these administrative detention orders after years of their enforcement, specifically referencing the case of detainee Tal Yinon Dradik. He explained that the Central Command officer has the authority to impose residential restrictions, which should be applied cautiously and based on Shin Bet assessments of threat levels. Regarding Tal Yinon Dradik, Katz noted that he had canceled Dradik's administrative detention order, allowing him to move freely except in Area B of the West Bank, which Dradik wishes to enter but is restricted from due to tensions with the United States.
