Senior Likud Figures Expected to Be Summoned in State Comptroller Vote Investigation
Senior members of the Likud party are expected to be summoned to testify in the investigation concerning the parliamentary vote for State Comptroller Michael Regev. Earlier, Knesset member Sharren Haskel appeared to give testimony at Lahav 433 regarding Regev's appointment. According to a report by ynet, Haskel was summoned at the initiative of the Attorney General's legal advisor, Gali Baharav-Miara, to determine whether she or the Likud party submitted a false affidavit to the Supreme Court. The affidavit relates to instructions allegedly given by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to party members to document their votes and present them to him.
