One Dead and Nine Injured in Serious Crash on Golan Heights Road 98
A severe traffic accident occurred on Sunday on Road 98 near the Afik Junction in the Golan Heights, involving a minibus and a private vehicle. A man in his mid-30s was pronounced dead at the scene by Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics. Nine other individuals were injured, with one man around 30 years old sustaining moderate limb injuries and the remaining eight suffering minor injuries. All injured were transported to Poriya Medical Center for further treatment.
MDA paramedics Tal Tavznik, Shlomi Boxer, and Gadi Eli reported that the crash involved two private vehicles, and the deceased was found unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and with severe bodily trauma. Despite advanced medical efforts, his injuries were fatal. The other nine victims received initial medical care at the scene and were evacuated in stable condition.
