Four Injured in Serious Car Crash on Israel's Route 92 Near Ramot

Four young people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Route 92 near the moshav Ramot in the Golan Heights on Monday morning. Among the injured, a man and a woman in their twenties sustained severe head injuries and were airlifted by Magen David Adom (MDA) helicopter to Rambam Hospital for urgent care. Two other young women, also around 20 years old, suffered moderate and minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for further treatment.

The crash involved three vehicles, according to MDA. Emergency responders, including volunteer doctor Dov Marten from United Hatzalah and paramedics Aam Btachish and Eid Abu Awad, provided on-site medical assistance. They described the severe head trauma of the two critically injured patients and confirmed their evacuation by helicopter. MDA paramedic Orel Biton reported chaotic scenes at the crash site, noting one unconscious young woman with head and limb injuries who received intubation and ventilation, and a conscious young man with serious abdominal trauma. Both were flown to Rambam Hospital while continuing to receive medical care. The remaining injured were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The incident highlights the dangers on Route 92 and the rapid response capabilities of Israeli emergency services. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision and the condition of the victims.
