He described Westbrook as "one of the best people I've ever met," highlighting his strong character and work ethic.

Pargo noted that Westbrook's current goal is to win an NBA championship and suggested that teams like Houston, which have long sought a point guard, could benefit from Westbrook coming off the bench. He praised Westbrook's consistent effort, defensive intensity, and game management skills, including his ability to find teammates like Kevin Durant and make the game easier for others. Pargo identified reducing turnovers as Westbrook's main area for improvement.

He also expressed openness to seeing Westbrook reunite with Durant in Houston, believing Westbrook would add a unique dimension to the team.
