Condor Airlines Launches Daily Flights Between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv

German airline Condor officially inaugurated its new regular flight route between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv with the arrival of its maiden flight at Ben Gurion Airport on Saturday. The daily service aims to strengthen air connectivity between Germany and Israel, catering to both business and tourism travelers. Flights depart Frankfurt in the afternoon and return from Tel Aviv the following morning. Ticket prices vary, with August fares ranging from 400 to 500 euros, some reaching 1,000 euros, and off-season prices as low as 99 euros one-way. The average annual one-way fare is about 350 euros, including an 8 kg carry-on but excluding checked baggage, which costs an additional 40 euros.

Condor, established in 1956, is one of Germany's oldest airlines and recently underwent a major rebranding featuring colorful striped aircraft inspired by sun, beaches, and islands. The airline operates approximately 10 million passengers annually to over 70 destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America. The Frankfurt-Tel Aviv route supports Condor's expanding international network and meets growing demand for flights connecting Israel with Germany and beyond.

The inaugural flight was fully booked, with about 80% of passengers continuing on connecting flights to North America and East Asia. The launch ceremony at Ben Gurion Airport included Condor representatives and aviation industry officials. Condor offers various fare classes, including economy and business on short-haul flights, and economy, premium economy, and business with lie-flat seats on long-haul routes. The airline has modernized its fleet with Airbus A330neo aircraft for long-haul flights and plans to expand its fleet significantly by 2031, including new Airbus A32Xneo planes for short and medium-haul routes.
