Israeli Prodigy Oriyan Goren Set for Senior Israel National Team Call-Up

Oriyan Goren, the 17-year-old Israeli football prodigy playing for Barcelona, is expected to receive his first call-up to the senior Israel national team. Goren recently played his second match with Barcelona's senior squad, participating for 28 minutes in a friendly against Birmingham. He is anticipated to join coach Ran Ben Shimon's squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches starting in September.

In addition to his involvement with Barcelona's youth team, Goren may also feature in the club's reserve team this season. Considered one of the top prospects in Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, his inclusion in the senior squad for recent friendlies against Europa CE and Birmingham reflects the club's confidence in his abilities.

While Goren has previously played for Israel's youth national teams, which still have important fixtures such as the European Championship qualifiers and potential playoffs, he is expected to be prioritized for youth duties but will be included in the senior team roster and called up as needed.
