Around 45,000 Visitors Explore Israel's Nature Reserves and National Parks This Weekend
The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that approximately 45,000 visitors explored nature reserves and national parks across the country this past weekend. The most popular sites were water-related locations, with Horeshet Tal, Gan HaShlosha (Sachne), and Hof Dor-Habonim Nature Reserve leading in visitor numbers. Additionally, about 6,800 hikers stayed overnight in the Authority's camping sites, with Achziv Beach, Horeshet Tal, Ma'ayan Harod, and Tel Ashkelon being the top camping destinations.
The Authority's update highlights the continued public interest in outdoor and natural attractions in Israel, especially those featuring water elements and camping facilities.
