Around 50,000 Visitors Explore Israel's Nature Reserves and National Parks Over Weekend

Approximately 50,000 visitors toured nature reserves and national parks across Israel during the recent weekend. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that the most popular sites included Achziv Beach, Gan HaShlosha (Sachne), Caesarea, Dor-Habonim Beach Reserve, and Tel Ashkelon National Park.

In addition to day visits, about 6,500 hikers stayed overnight at the Authority's designated camping sites. The leading camping locations were Achziv Beach, Tal Grove, Harod Spring, Tel Ashkelon, and Khan Be'erot in the Ramon Crater.

These figures highlight the strong public interest in outdoor activities and nature tourism within Israel during the weekend period.
