Around 80,000 Visitors Explore Israel's Nature Reserves and National Parks Over Weekend

Approximately 80,000 visitors explored nature reserves and national parks across Israel during the recent weekend. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that the most popular sites included Gan HaShlosha (Sachne), Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Caesarea, and the Dor-Benayim Beach Reserve. Notably, several northern sites that reopened earlier in the week also attracted significant crowds, such as the Hermon Stream-Banias Reserve, Snir Stream Reserve, and Achziv Beach.

Over the weekend, about 3,600 visitors stayed overnight at the Authority's camping sites. The most frequented camping locations were Ma'ayan Harod, Achziv Beach, Yarkon Springs, and Eshkol Park. These numbers reflect a strong public interest in outdoor and nature activities across the country.
