Israeli OnlyFans Model Adva Lavi Remains Detained in Los Angeles Over Multiple Theft Charges
Adva Lavi, a 29-year-old Israeli OnlyFans model also known as Mia Ventura, will remain in custody in Los Angeles following a judge's ruling on Friday. The judge at the Van Nuys courthouse determined that Lavi poses a flight risk after repeatedly violating her bail conditions. This decision comes amid her third arrest in recent months.
Lavi was apprehended on Tuesday evening by Beverly Hills police after leaving the upscale Azul restaurant near Rodeo Drive. The arrest followed a warrant issued by the Indio Police Department in Riverside County, east of Los Angeles. Authorities allege that in April 2025, during the Coachella music festival in Indio, Lavi stayed at an Airbnb and stole luxury items worth over $11,000 from at least two victims. Stolen goods reportedly include an $8,600 Rolex watch, Louis Vuitton sunglasses, and a designer cardholder. Surveillance footage from the Airbnb and a Tesla vehicle belonging to one victim reportedly captured the thefts, prompting the Riverside County arrest warrant.
Compounding her legal troubles, Beverly Hills officers noticed Lavi was not wearing her court-mandated electronic ankle monitor during her recent arrest, leading to an additional charge for violating a court order. Lavi's legal issues began in October 2025 when Los Angeles County police sought her for a series of burglaries targeting wealthy older men she met on dating apps. Between 2023 and 2025, she allegedly formed relationships with victims, entered their homes, and stole cash, gold, and luxury items. She was indicted in March 2026 on serious charges including theft, residential burglary, and misuse of personal information. Although she denied the charges and was released on bail with an ankle monitor and travel restrictions, she repeatedly violated these terms.
In June, Lavi was arrested twice for bail violations, including leaving Los Angeles County to visit a Malibu restaurant. Despite prosecutors' requests, judges initially issued warnings rather than revoking bail. The judge on Friday expressed skepticism about Lavi's willingness to appear for trial, stating, "Nothing will guarantee she will show up for court," and criticized her desire to control proceedings.
Lavi's case is also linked to billionaire Jewish businessman Stephen Cloobeck, 64, a former California gubernatorial candidate who was arrested in May for allegedly attempting to influence witnesses in her case. The couple had announced plans to marry in Jerusalem in June, but the wedding was canceled following Lavi's latest arrest, and Cloobeck reportedly ceased funding her legal defense. Lavi is currently held in Los Angeles County jail awaiting further proceedings on both the main Los Angeles case and the new Riverside County charges. If convicted on all counts, prosecutors may seek a sentence exceeding ten years in prison.
