Adva Lavi, the Israeli OnlyFans personality formerly featured in Penthouse and accused of stealing from wealthy older men, was arrested twice recently for violating court-imposed supervision conditions. Even so, she avoided jail again on Tuesday, when a Los Angeles judge issued only another warning and barred her from leaving the county, according to exclusive reporting by the New York Post and the California Post.
The 28-year-old, also known as Mia Ventura, appeared in court in her ongoing criminal case. She faces serious charges including burglary, theft, and unlawful use of personal identifying information. Prosecutors say she met older, affluent men through dating apps and social media, then stole property and money from their homes.
Her latest violation was described as technical. An ankle monitor reportedly recorded her crossing the street to Neptune’s Net, a historic Malibu restaurant, which is in Ventura County rather than Los Angeles County. Deputy District Attorney Erin Friedman reminded the judge of his earlier warning and asked that Lavi remain jailed and that her bail be set at $1 million. She also said Lavi allegedly contacted one of the case’s victims by text in an effort to manipulate him. The defense said the message was harmless and aimed at sympathy, citing one text that read, “I’m trying to heal mentally and you want me to be punished.”
The Post said Lavi appeared very distressed and that her lawyers sometimes struggled to control her. At one point, attorney Jeff Rubinstein reportedly told her, “Shut up.” She also consulted a Hebrew interpreter appointed by the court, even though the report said she speaks fluent English. The case has also drawn attention because of her relationship with Jewish American billionaire Stephen Cloobeck, 64, founder and CEO of Diamond Resorts, whom she reportedly planned to marry in Israel this summer. Those plans are on hold because her release conditions forbid her from leaving California and require her passport to be surrendered. Cloobeck himself was arrested last month on charges of trying to influence a witness and making harassing phone calls, then released on $300,000 bail.
