Israeli Actor Omer Dror Celebrates 32nd Birthday with Career Highlights

Omer Dror, an Israeli actor born in the United States as Isaac Omer Dror, recently turned 32. His family returned to Israel when he was one year old, and he grew up in the community of Nili. Dror began his acting journey in high school theater in Modi'in and further honed his skills during his service in the IDF Theater.

Dror's breakthrough came with his role as Micha in the popular Israeli youth series "Alifim," which made him a prominent youth idol. Alongside acting, he became a sought-after model, leading campaigns for major brands such as Castro, Calvin Klein, and Chanel, and even worked as a model in Milan early in his career.

One of Dror's most ambitious projects was a film about the life of Mike Brant, for which he studied French and prepared for three years, sacrificing other roles. However, the film was never released due to rights disputes. More recently, Dror gained international exposure through his role as Tzachi Toledano in the Netflix series "Beauty Queen of Jerusalem."

Between 2014 and 2016, Dror participated in three consecutive Festigal performances, becoming a regular star of the popular Israeli children's musical shows. He maintains a healthy lifestyle, avoiding coffee and sugary drinks, preferring warm water, and regularly exercising through walking, gym workouts, and tennis.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when theatrical productions halted, Dror explored other work opportunities but realized that acting and the stage are where he truly feels at home. His diverse Jewish heritage includes Polish, Romanian, Syrian, Libyan, and Lebanese roots, reflecting the multicultural background that has shaped his life since childhood.
