Former Manchester City Winger Jayden Braaf Trials with Hapoel Haifa After Year Out

Hapoel Haifa is looking to strengthen its squad by bringing in Dutch winger Jayden Braaf, 23, who will trial with the club and play in the Toto Cup match against Hapoel Kiryat Shmona. Braaf, who has not played competitively for nearly a year, previously featured in the youth teams of Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, and has had stints at Udinese, Fortuna Sittard, and Salernitana. He was released by Hellas Verona in Serie A after making just six appearances since joining in 2023. Braaf also has three appearances and two goals for the Netherlands U18 national team. Earlier this month, he trialed with German second-division club Osnabrück but did not secure a contract. His performance in the upcoming Toto Cup game will be crucial as he aims to earn a deal with Hapoel Haifa and potentially secure a Sports Channel 5 contract.
