Journalist Adva Dadon and Actor Yadin Gilman Marry Three Years After Engagement
After three years since their engagement and nearly two years following the birth of their son, journalist Adva Dadon (37) and actor Yadin Gilman (32) have tied the knot. The couple exchanged vows in a midday wedding held at the Pera Hotel in the Golan Heights on Friday. Dadon's wedding dress and veil were designed by fashion designer Alon Livne in a minimalist vintage style, tailored personally for her.
The ceremony featured singer Shuli Rand, who escorted the couple to the chuppah, while DJ Itay Galo provided the music. Event producer Moran Spiegel explained that the decision to hold the wedding in northern Israel was influenced by Dadon's extensive coverage of the local community during the recent war, aiming to support the residents and businesses there. All wedding vendors were from northern Israel or were reservists.
The couple's relationship was first revealed in October 2022, a year after Dadon's divorce from journalist Gilad Shalmor, with whom she shares a six-year-old daughter, Ilan. Dadon and Gilman secretly got engaged in February 2024 and kept the news private for about six months. Two months later, they announced they were expecting their first child together, and their son Yonatan Lavi was born in August 2024.
