On Friday, several Palestinian assailants tried to snatch a weapon from an IDF soldier near the settlement of Metzad in the Gush Etzion area. The Israeli military forces quickly responded to the incident, which escalated into a confrontation between Palestinians and settlers. During the clash, one attacker was shot in the leg. No Israeli soldiers were injured in the event. The IDF continues to operate in the West Bank to prevent such attacks and maintain security in the region.
