Shake Milton Signs One-Year Deal with Hapoel Jerusalem for $1 Million

Hapoel Jerusalem has officially signed guard Shake Milton to a one-year contract worth $1 million. The 29-year-old, standing 1.96 meters tall, joins the Israeli Premier League club after completing his first European season with Partizan Belgrade in the EuroLeague. Milton was also considered by Maccabi Tel Aviv as a potential replacement for Loni Walker before choosing Jerusalem.

Milton brings extensive NBA experience, having played from 2018 to 2025 for teams including the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers, accumulating 359 NBA games. Despite injuries last season, he averaged 6.9 points on 49.5% shooting in the EuroLeague and performed well in the Adriatic League with 11.9 points per game on 46.9% three-point shooting.

Expressing enthusiasm, Milton said he is excited to join Hapoel Jerusalem, praising the club's passionate fans and atmosphere, and is eager to contribute to the team's goals. Head coach Sasha Obradovic highlighted Milton's versatility, scoring ability, and experience as key assets that will strengthen the squad.

Milton is the fifth new signing for Hapoel Jerusalem this summer, joining guard Jalen Smith, center Devontae Cacok, forwards David Roddy and Kenny Lofton Jr., alongside the contract extension of Jared Harper. The club is also close to signing Serbian center Dusan Miljic, who played last season in the EuroCup with Cluj.

This roster build reflects Hapoel Jerusalem's high ambitions for the upcoming season under Obradovic's leadership.
