Shake Milton Signs One-Year Deal with Hapoel Jerusalem for $1 Million

Hapoel Jerusalem has officially signed guard Shake Milton to a one-year contract worth $1 million. The 29-year-old, standing 1.96 meters tall, joins the Israeli club after completing his first European season with Partizan Belgrade in the EuroLeague. Milton was also considered by Maccabi Tel Aviv as a potential replacement for Loni Walker before choosing Jerusalem.

Milton brings extensive NBA experience, having played from 2018 to 2025 for teams including the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers, with over 359 NBA games under his belt. Last season, despite battling injuries, he averaged 6.9 points per game with a 49.5% shooting rate in the EuroLeague and performed well in the Adriatic League, scoring 11.9 points per game with 46.9% from three-point range.

Expressing enthusiasm about joining Hapoel Jerusalem, Milton said he is eager to contribute and fight for every point to help the club achieve its goals. Head coach Sasha Obradovic praised Milton's versatility, scoring ability, and experience, highlighting him as a significant addition to the team’s ambitions.

Milton is the fifth new signing for Hapoel Jerusalem this summer, joining guard Jalen Smith, center Devontae Cacok, forwards David Roddy and Kenny Lofton Jr., alongside the contract extension of Jared Harper through the 2028/29 season. The club is also close to signing Serbian center Dusan Miljic, who played last season for Cluj in the EuroCup.
