New Poll Shows Netanyahu's Likud Gains While Gadi Eizenkot's Yisrael Retains Lead

A new poll by Maariv, conducted by Lazar Research and Panel4ALL, reveals a slight recovery for Israel's ruling Likud party amid internal shifts within the opposition bloc. The survey was conducted against the backdrop of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington and meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, alongside Likud's campaign against the Democratic Party following their primaries.

In this scenario, Likud strengthens by 2 seats, rising to 22 mandates. Despite this gain, the coalition bloc remains stagnant at 49 seats, while the opposition bloc falls short of an outright majority, holding 57 seats. The decisive factor appears to be the HaBayit HaTzioni party, led by Hili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, which crosses the electoral threshold this week and gains 4 seats, potentially tipping the balance in favor of the opposition.

Within the Zionist opposition, the parties Yachdav and the Democrats each lose 2 seats. Meanwhile, Gadi Eizenkot's Yisrael party maintains its status as the largest party on the map with 23 seats. The full seat distribution shows Yachdav with 15 seats, Yisrael Beiteinu holding steady at 10, the Democrats with 9, United Torah Judaism at 8, and both Otzma Yehudit and Shas with 7 seats each. At the lower end, Hadash-Ta'al, Ra'am, and Religious Zionism each secure 5 seats, alongside HaBayit HaTzioni with 4. Balad and Blue and White remain below the threshold with 1.8% and 1.2% respectively.

Summarizing the blocs, the Zionist opposition holds between 56 and 57 seats, the coalition stands at 49, and the Arab parties maintain their strength with 10 seats.
