Former Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel Summoned by Police Over State Comptroller Vote

Sharren Haskel, former Deputy Foreign Minister and current Knesset member, has been summoned to testify by the police regarding the vote for the State Comptroller. This follows a sworn affidavit she submitted to the Supreme Court as part of her petition to split from the Religious Zionist Party. In her affidavit, Haskel claimed that during the second round of voting for the State Comptroller, members of the New Hope party were required to document and show their votes for Michael Regev to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She stated that party members had to record videos of themselves voting and present this evidence to Netanyahu, without the option of independent decision-making.
