Maccabi Netanya Sets Record-Breaking 54.6 Million Shekel Budget for 2026/27 Season

Maccabi Netanya has announced its largest-ever budget of approximately 54.6 million shekels for the 2026/27 season, signaling high ambitions following a strong start to the campaign. This budget surpasses previous records set during the tenures of Daniel Yamer, who allocated 35 million shekels, and Eyal Segal, who set a 43 million shekel budget in the 2024/25 season. The comprehensive budget covers all club operations including the youth department, debt repayments, player salaries, administrative staff, and suppliers.

The club is planning further investments, including signing three additional senior players, and has factored in revenues from recent player sales, specifically Freddy Vargas and Riberto Tabarsh, into their financial planning. Despite the optimistic outlook and increased spending, the club is currently facing challenges in attracting season ticket sales from fans. Maccabi Netanya hopes that the improved team performance and strategic acquisitions will boost fan engagement as the season progresses.
