Maccabi Netanya Sets Record Budget of 54.6 Million Shekels for 2026/27 Season

Maccabi Netanya has announced its largest-ever budget for the 2026/27 season, totaling approximately 54.6 million shekels. This marks a significant increase compared to previous years, with budgets of 35 million shekels during Daniel Yamer's tenure and 43 million shekels in the 2024/25 season under Eyal Segal. The budget covers all club expenses, including the youth department, debt repayments, player salaries, administrative staff, and suppliers.

The club's strong start to the season has raised hopes for a positive trajectory, contrasting with the previous season's challenges. Despite this, the club is currently facing difficulties in attracting fans to purchase season tickets. The budget also accounts for the planned signing of three additional senior players. Separately, the club has included revenue figures from the sales of players Freddy Vargas and Roberto Tavarez, which are not part of the expenditure budget.

Maccabi Netanya aims to leverage this substantial financial commitment to strengthen its squad and overall club operations, hoping to translate the investment into improved performance and fan engagement throughout the season.
