Maccabi Tel Aviv Surpasses Last Season's Season Ticket Sales Ahead of 2026/27 Basketball Season
One month before the start of the 2026/27 basketball season, Maccabi Tel Aviv has already sold more season tickets than in the entire previous season. The club has exceeded 8,000 season ticket holders for the upcoming campaign, despite the general public sale not yet opening.
The club attributes this surge to several factors, including winning the double last season, contract extensions for the coach and key players, new signings of Yam Madar and Daniel Teiss, and the return of Bonzi Colson. Maccabi stated that the renewal rate for season tickets is higher than usual, with many fans upgrading their seats online.
Currently, the season tickets cover only the Israeli Premier League home games, including potential quarterfinal home matches. Season ticket holders will receive priority for combined season tickets when EuroLeague games return to Israel, along with various benefits and early access to key game tickets not included in the season ticket package.
The sale of remaining season tickets to the general public is scheduled to open on Tuesday, August 25. It is noted that not all seats in the arena are available for season tickets, as some are reserved for single-game sales or visiting team supporters.
