Iran Launches Ballistic Missiles at US Base in Jordan in Surprise Attack

The US Central Command confirmed that Iran launched multiple ballistic missiles toward a US military base in Jordan in what was described as a surprise attack. The incident occurred at 17:45 Eastern Time (00:45 local time). According to the statement, all Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted, and no casualties were reported. The US forces remain on high alert and fully prepared.

This marks the first Iranian missile attack on a US base in the Middle East since the US halted its strikes against Iran last Friday. Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces carried out the missile launches as part of an attempted surprise offensive against American troops in the region.

Earlier this week, Iranian regime insiders expressed skepticism about the US maintaining a ceasefire but indicated that if the US refrains from further attacks, Iran would also stop its assaults.
