Former Israeli PM Bennett and Qatar Exchange Sharp Accusations Over Terrorism Allegations

A fierce exchange of accusations took place on Tuesday between former Israeli Prime Minister and leader of the "Together" party, Naftali Bennett, and Qatari authorities. The conflict arose after Bennett declared that if elected prime minister, he would designate Qatar as an enemy state. In response, Ali Al-Ansari, Qatar's media attaché in the United States, condemned Bennett's statement, accusing him of deliberately spreading false information about Qatar for political gain. Al-Ansari defended Qatar's efforts to maintain stability, highlighting its internationally recognized humanitarian aid to Gaza and coordination with Israel on hostage release efforts. He urged Israeli politicians to focus on domestic issues rather than attacking Qatar.

Bennett quickly fired back, accusing Qatar of financing the October 7 attacks and hosting terrorist leaders in Doha. He asserted that Qatar did not condemn the massacre but instead celebrated the killings and rapes of Israeli civilians. Bennett concluded firmly, stating, "I will not be bought with money.
