Shooting Targets Jewish-Owned Security Firm in Toronto Amid Rising Antisemitic Attacks

A series of antisemitic attacks continues in Toronto, with recent gunfire discovered near the headquarters of a Jewish-owned security company specializing in armored vehicles. The Toronto Police reported that bullet marks were found at the entrance of the company's international headquarters located in North York. This incident follows a shooting attack on the U.S. consulate building in Toronto and prior shootings targeting a Jewish café and bakery in downtown Toronto, as well as sabotage at another location in the northern part of the city. Over the past months, multiple shootings have targeted Jewish institutions and businesses, including synagogues and restaurants.

In response, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has ordered a thorough investigation into these incidents. He emphasized the government's firm commitment to combating the "scourge of antisemitism" and instructed law enforcement agencies to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
