IDF Kills Two Gaza Terror Operatives In Precision Airstrikes Over Weekend

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted targeted airstrikes in the southern and northern Gaza Strip over the weekend, eliminating two key militants affiliated with Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Hamas. Among those killed was Amro Abu Alrish, a Nukhba unit operative of PIJ's military wing, who had participated in the release of an Israeli civilian from captivity. The IDF stated that Abu Alrish was actively engaged in combat against Israeli forces throughout the ongoing conflict and was involved in planning and executing terror attacks against IDF troops. He also played a role in training other Nukhba militants and worked to restore PIJ's operational capabilities in Gaza.

In a separate strike in northern Gaza, the IDF killed Abd Alnasser Alaziz Makadma, who served as a commander in Hamas police and as deputy commander of a military wing unit. According to the IDF, Makadma was recently involved in orchestrating terror attacks targeting both Israeli soldiers and civilians. The military emphasized that both militants posed significant threats to IDF forces deployed in Gaza and were neutralized through precise aerial operations.

The strikes occurred as IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area under existing agreements. The IDF affirmed its commitment to continue neutralizing any threats against its personnel in the Gaza vicinity.
