The Israeli Police issued an unusual public appeal on Monday, requesting assistance in locating a woman and her two children amid an ongoing investigation at the Lev HaBira police station in the Jerusalem district. The woman, identified as 20-year-old immigrant Joy Hirschberg from Jerusalem, is suspected of abducting her children, three-year-old Taleh Reizel and one-year-old Natan Yaakov Verona. According to police investigations, the mother and her children entered Israel in August 2025 and have been missing since then. Authorities believe they may still be in the Jerusalem area. The police urged anyone with information to contact the emergency number 100 or the investigating unit directly at 02-5391550. To aid the search, the police also released photos of the mother and her children.
