Asaf Herz Releases Personal Love Song Inspired by Wife Ahead of Tu B'Av

Israeli singer and actor Asaf Herz has released a new single titled "Yafa Sheli" (My Beautiful), a deeply personal love song inspired by his first conversation with his wife, Hadar. The song, co-written and composed with Liam Hachmon, reflects a pivotal moment early in their relationship when Herz was undergoing a spiritual transformation, balancing his religious studies and work with his evolving personal life. During their initial meeting, Hadar expressed a desire for a "home of servants of God," a statement that profoundly impacted Herz and gave him new direction in his spiritual journey.

Herz shared that this moment opened a "window in his soul," encouraging him to continue his spiritual growth. He chose to release the single ahead of Tu B'Av, a Jewish holiday associated with love and spiritual purity, emphasizing the holiday's significance as a time of unconditional love and redemption.
