Channel 14 Reporter Honors Slain West Bank Victim with Dedicated Documentary Series

The recent deadly attack in the West Bank village of Tel has deeply affected all of Israel, and personally impacted Eliya Aviv, Channel 14's settlement correspondent. Binyahu Malt, who was murdered alongside artillery officer Yuval Ezra in the attack, was a close friend and collaborator of Aviv. Over recent months, Malt and Aviv worked together on an extensive documentary series focusing on the growing threat posed by the Palestinian Authority's military forces and Fatah.

Malt was a passionate activist dedicated to raising public awareness about the dangerous escalation of the Palestinian Authority's army. He appeared on Channel 14 shortly before his death, expressing frustration and concern about the hidden dangers. His commitment to exposing this threat was described by those who knew him as a national mission.

Tragically, the terror group Fatah officially claimed responsibility for the attack, cynically calling the perpetrators "our martyrs." This cruel reality painfully intersected with Malt's life's work, as the attackers were members of the very Palestinian forces he warned against.

In response to the tragedy, Eliya Aviv and chief documentary editor Chagai Siman Tov decided to honor Malt's memory by dedicating the entire documentary series on the Palestinian Authority's army to him.
