Kevin Freiter, a former player in Israel's Premier League, has reinvented his career at age 31 by becoming a standout player in the United States' professional indoor soccer league, MASL. Although Freiter did not make a significant impact during his time with Israeli clubs such as Maccabi Netanya, Hapoel Raanana, and Hapoel Nof HaGalil, his career took a new direction after leaving Israel. Having played in Jamaica, the US, and India, Freiter found a niche in the fast-paced, physical indoor soccer environment, which suits his style better than traditional outdoor football.

The MASL features synthetic turf fields enclosed by walls, with teams of six players including a goalkeeper. The game is divided into four 15-minute quarters, with continuous substitutions and a high tempo that demands quick reactions and aggressive play. However, he showed promise in the playoffs, signaling his growing adaptation. By the 2025/26 season, Freiter became a key offensive player, scoring 18 goals and assisting 9 in the regular season, contributing directly to nearly 22% of Baltimore's goals. His physicality, speed, and directness made him a constant threat and a valuable asset in the team's second-place finish.

Baltimore advanced to the MASL semifinals but lost in a shortened decisive game to the Milwaukee Wave. Although Freiter did not win major individual awards, he was recognized among the league's notable newcomers, a significant achievement given his previous struggles.
