Chaim Bublil, commander of the Southern District Police in Israel, provided new details about the disappearance of four-year-old Yuval Kogan. He explained that Yuval walked toward where he believed his home was located and fell asleep during the night. Upon waking in the morning, Yuval remained in a shaded spot, which Bublil described as a smart decision that likely saved his life. When Yuval heard horses approaching, he called out to them, leading to his discovery.

Israel Police Chief Commissioner Danny Levi added that while Yuval slept relatively well, the police themselves did not get any rest during the search. The incident highlights the child’s presence of mind and the police’s dedicated efforts in locating him safely.
